Compliance and Risk Notice

Last updated: 24 September 2026

This notice is for three groups: applicants weighing up whether to apply, employers considering CareerPeak, and advertising platforms reviewing our ads. It explains what we do, what we cannot check, and how applicants can protect themselves.

What CareerPeak is

We publish openings supplied by employers, collect applications from people living in Australia and refer applicants to those employers. We do not hire, pay or supervise anyone. Any working arrangement is between the applicant and the employer.

Who pays

Employers pay CareerPeak for advertising and referrals. Applicants pay CareerPeak nothing, at any point.

We make no such promises

We do not promise you will be hired, that an opening is still available, or that applying leads to any income. We do not show placement counts, success rates or ratings, because they cannot be checked by anyone outside the business. If you see such numbers beside our name in an advert, report it and we will have it corrected.

Watch for payment requests

A real employer does not make a new worker pay to start. Refuse any request for a deposit, equipment, a top-up, credits or a payment to release wages, even if our name is used, and send the request to careers@careerpeakhub.com.

Confirm in writing

Before you begin, ask the employer to confirm in writing its legal name, the work, the rate, the expected hours and the payment dates. A WhatsApp message is enough. If an employer will not do this, you can decline and tell us.

What we cannot verify

Nobody should mistake CareerPeak for a regulator or an auditor. We contact every employer directly before an opening is listed, but we do not inspect workplaces, examine finances or supervise work once it starts. Openings that turn out to be a problem are removed.

How openings are written

We write openings from employer information and do not invent pay, exaggerate duties or overstate certainty. If an opening and an advert disagree, we correct whichever is wrong.

Your data, briefly

The form collects your name, email address, age, gender, nationality, country of residence and WhatsApp number. These go to the employer you chose and our service providers, and are kept for twelve months after your last contact. Read the Privacy Policy for the detail.

Tracking and ad measurement

The site runs Google Analytics (G-N57FG2NCQG) and Google Ads tags (AW-17682545901 and AW-18164803313). One Ads tag records a conversion when the application form is submitted. Names and contact details are never included in these signals. Access from some countries is blocked using Cloudflare's country detection.

Age and right to work

The service is for adults. Employers are responsible for checking your right to work in Australia.

Equal treatment

Applications go to employers exactly as submitted; we do not screen anyone out for their gender, nationality or background.

Reporting a problem

Send suspicious adverts, messages or employer requests to careers@careerpeakhub.com, with a screenshot where possible. A person reviews every report, investigates and replies. None of this narrows what the Australian Consumer Law or the Privacy Act 1988 already gives you.
